Happy holidays in Morocco-4 Days North Tour from Fes to Chefchaouen & Volubilis program

 

Day 1: Fez – Volubilis -Meknes

The first day of the 4 days trip departure from Fes- happy holidays in Morocco is dedicated to explore the cultural capital of Morocco by the mean of a guided visit. We will visit the attractive Médina of Fes, a primitive mosque which was founded in the middle of the 9th Century, El Quaraouyine University(the oldest one in all the world). Also, we will visit the tomb of Moulay Idriss the founder of Fes city, the Nejjarine unit sheltering the museum Nejjarine of arts and trades of wood. The Medersa Seffarine is too important to visit, it was specialized in the teaching of grammar and Theology, Mellah-the Jewish quarter, the souks, and finally the Medersa Bou Anania.

After lunch, we take the road towards the Ismaïlian capital Meknes where we will visit the Moulay Ismail tomb which is one of the rare sanctuaries of Morocco, attics stables of Moulay Ismail, place El Hdim, Bab Mansour the most famous door of all North Africa. Then we continue to Volubilis, Roman ruins close to Moulay Driss Zarhoun, the first man who introduced Islam in Morocco. Late, we return back to Meknes. The night will be in a Riad in the medina.

Day 2: Meknes– Chefchaouen

After breakfast, we start the activity of this day of our 4 days trip departure from Fes- happy holidays in Morocco. We will take the road direction to Chefchaouen. The city was founded in 1471 by Moorish. On our way, we will meet stunning villages at the foot of the Rif mountains. We make many stops to enjoy panoramic views of the beautiful mountains, forests, lakes, and streams of water. The blue city of Chefchaouen has a Spanish-style. Squares surrounded by many funky arts and crafts stores, to enjoy the breeze and the beauty of nature.

We will spend this night in Chefchaouen(called also Chaouen).

The night will be in a riad.

Day 3: Chefchaouen – Rabat – Casablanca

Today after breakfast, we leave Chefchaouen direction to Rabat-the administrative capital of Morocco- passing via kenetra. In Rabat, we will visit Hassan Tower, kasbah Oudayas, Bab Chella and the old medina.

After lunch, we will drive direction to Casablanca where we will visit Hassan 2 mosque(the biggest one in Africa and the most important monument in the city) and  Ain Diab beach.

The end of our activities for this day of our 4 days tour departure from Fes- happy holidays ion Morocco.

Dinner and accommodation will be in a hotel.

Day 4: Casablanca – Fez

The morning after breakfast, we start the activity of the last day of our private tour departure from Fes to Volubilis and Chefchaouen and back to Fes.

This day takes us back to Fes passing via Rabat and Meknes. When arriving at Fes, we will drop you of in your hotel, riad or Fes Sais airport.
